About Me

I'm Lauren, founder and designer of Heirloom Arthouse. I've been painting and creating gifts for friends and family since I was a little girl, and love losing myself in the process— kind of a runner's high for artsy people. Heirloom Baby Blocks were created from necessity back in 1996 when I lived in the middle of the Mojave desert, with lots of friends having babies and really slim pickings in the shopping department. Finding something unique was next to impossible… and so I got creative.

Over the years, my business has grown from fulfilling a personal need, to developing a loyal customer base coast-to-coast. I am so happy to be able to offer you a thoughtful and unique way to celebrate a baby's arrival whether your own or for someone you love. Each block is hand painted with attention to detail and is loaded with charm; a gift to be cherished for years to come.
